LOAN PROGRAM

Small Business Micro Loan Fund

TCEF is designed to meet the needs of small businesses that are unable to obtain bank credit because the loan amount is too small or the business does not have a sufficiently long operating history. These small businesses, which are otherwise credit worthy, may be eligible to obtain loans of $35,000 or less from the TCEF small business/micro loan program. Some uses of the loans include the following:

start-up costs
  equipment
  machinery
  working capital
  building improvements

Loans may vary on a case-by-case basis. However, the following generalizations apply:

loan amounts range from $5,000 to $35,000
loan interest rates are fixed and are higher than bank rates. The current rates range between 8 and 10%
loan terms range from one to five years
application and loan origination fees apply
collateral is required on every loan along with personal guarantees
